What is the member discount?

American Folk Art Museum members receive a 10% discount on all Shop merchandise, in-store and online. For more information on the benefits of membership, go to http://shop.folkartmuseum.org/collections/membership.

 

Can I purchase merchandise and a museum membership in the same transaction?

Yes. However, your member discount will not apply to Shop merchandise in this transaction. To take full advantage of your member discount, you may wish to postpone your purchase until your membership or renewal has been processed.

 

Will I be charged sales tax?


Applicable sales tax will be added to all merchandise to be shipped to any address within New York State. Orders shipped to addresses outside the state will not be charged sales tax.

 

What forms of payment do you take?

Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover.

 

What should I do if I encounter problems finalizing my online purchase?


If you are experiencing an error code that says your zip code is incorrect, please check to see if the billing address you have entered is the same billing address that your credit card company has on file. If, for some reason, you cannot complete your order online, you are welcome to call us at 646. 783. 5985 during store hours and we will take your order by phone.

 

What is your Shipping Policy?


We will try to ship your order as quickly as possible. Please allow up to 10 business days for delivery of most in-stock merchandise. Items ordered together may not always be shipped together; however, you will be notified in advance of any back-ordered items or shipping delays. We do not ship to Alaska or Hawaii at this time. We cannot ship to post office boxes.

 

How is merchandise shipped?

Orders are sent via UPS Ground.

 

Do you ship internationally?

We do not ship internationally at this time.

 

What is your Return Policy?

Online purchases may be returned for exchange, credit, or refund to your credit card with receipt within 30 days of the date of purchase; credit is valid for one year after date of issue. Shipping costs are non-refundable. Items must be unused and returned in the same condition you received it. Return the item in the original packaging, if possible. You will be responsible for paying for your own return shipping. Lost returns are the responsibility of the sender.
