This "Bushy Hill Buttons" bracelet is a creation by artist Miriam Johnson, a collector of Bakelite buttons. Bakelite plastic was discovered in 1907 and was made famous during the Art Deco period in the 1930's in highly collectible costume jewelry. This one-of-a-kind piece employs the "no harm" method of assembly which protects the integrity of the original button. Each bracelet is unique and has different buttons—some buttons have stars, some have little dogs and the Bracelet purchased may have different buttons than pictured. One size fits most.
