Their story began at Tyler School of Art in Philadelphia in 1984, where they met and fell in love. In 1988, they decided to pool their talents and created CHICKENSCRATCH. Their goal was to make meaningful and well-crafted jewelry that was collectible, affordable, and accessible. A whimsical and narrative nature was, and remains, a central theme in our work 34 years later. Chickenscratch is an absolute original made for people with the same joy that they bring to its making.
