Gordon Swenarton took walks in the woods near his home in New Jersey to look for pieces to make his creations. Originally an artist in the advertising industry, Gordon saw a picture of a decoy fish one day in a fishing journal, and he began making decoys as a hobby. He handcrafted each piece on the deck of his house, enjoying the freedom to make creatures look whimsical and colorful. Signed by the artist, Swenarton created authentic-looking tramp art mirrors, wonderful 'snake' walking sticks, and more. Swenarton passed away in 2020, yet his art still lives.
