Our skilled team includes Goose Grease-trained craftsmen and craftswomen who meticulously hand-draw and hand-paint each doll from start to finish.

Care:

  • Avoid moisture — Water can damage the wood and cause paint to swell, crack, or run. If they get wet, dry them gently and thoroughly.
  • Keep out of direct sunlight — UV rays can fade paint over time. Store them in a shaded display or a shelf away from windows.
  • Handle gently — Wooden peg dolls can be durable, but avoid dropping or banging them against hard surfaces to prevent cracks or chipping of paint.
  • Clean carefully — Use a soft, dry or slightly damp cloth to wipe dust off. Avoid soaking or using harsh cleaning chemicals.
  • Store properly — When not displayed, store them in a box or soft pouch to protect from scratches or rubbing, especially if mixing with other toys.
  • Maintain finish — If the painted finish starts wearing, you might consider reapplying a thin coat of non-toxic sealant compatible with water-based paints to preserve paint stability.
