A small animal made from a seedpod nut! Using the seedpods of the Ulumbu Tree (Sterculia rogersii), Zimbabwean artists have created these charming little birds. Standing on hand-twisted wire feet, they are between 3-6" tall and are hand-painted in the rich, bright colors of each bird's plumage.

Care:

• If needed, wipe lightly with a slightly damp cloth, then immediately dry with a soft towel
• Keep in a dry environment; avoid damp rooms (bathrooms, basements) to prevent mold or warping
• Avoid direct, prolonged sunlight, which can fade the paint and dry out the pod, making it brittle
