Most of the handmade scarves are created using the Nuno felting process. A very small amount of merino wool is carefully placed on recycled silk, chiffon, or cotton. The materials are heated, soaped, and scrubbed, causing the wool fibers to migrate through the weave of the cloth and bond together, creating garments that are lightweight and drape beautifully on the body. The traditional wet felted technique is the oldest form of fabric making and is used to create these beautiful scarves.

Care:
- Hand Wash Recommended: Use cold water with a mild wool-safe detergent. This protects the wool fibers while the polyester adds durability.
- Gentle Machine Wash (Optional): If the label permits, use a delicate cycle with cold water and place the scarf in a mesh laundry bag.
- Air Dry Flat: Lay the scarf on a clean towel, reshape, and let it dry naturally. Hanging may stretch the wool fibers.
- Avoid High Heat: Never tumble dry on high, as heat can shrink wool and damage polyester fibers.
- Avoid Direct Sunlight: Long exposure may fade colors.
- Storage: Keep folded in a cool, dry place. For wool, consider storing it with cedar or lavender sachets to deter moths.
- Wrinkle Removal: Use a garment steamer or iron on the lowest setting with a cloth barrier.
